Job summary

Kimball Midwest is seeking an Account Representative for a hybrid role. You will enter a two-year training program to gain sales experience, product knowledge and further develop skills needed to become a sales representative.

Compensation ranges from $42,400 to $47,400 in the first year, with salary and bonus structure, plus benefits such as medical, dental, life, disability insurance, 401k and a deferred compensation plan. Mileage and cell phone reimbursement are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to move to and from customer locations within the territory.
• Willingness to travel for meetings within geographic area.

Responsibilities

• Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with customers in a designated territory and understand their business needs.
• Cold Calling & Prospecting: Reach potential customers to grow a book of business.
• Planning & Priority Setting: Plan week in advance to prioritize stops and territory growth.
• Product Knowledge: Demonstrate products to show value and quality.
• Achieve Sales Goals: Meet or exceed quotas via company programs and processes.
• Reporting: Maintain records of daily sales activities in systems.
