Kimball Midwest is seeking an Account Representative for a hybrid role in California. You will enter a two-year training program to gain sales experience, product knowledge and develop skills to become a sales representative.

The position includes a path for growth with a focus on relationship building, cold prospecting, and meeting sales quotas. Compensation includes first-year salary plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-year training program in sales
• Experience in sales or customer relations preferred
• Willing to travel within designated territory as needed

Responsibilities

• Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with customers in a designated territory to understand their business needs and identify opportunities.
• Cold Calling & Prospecting: Effectively cold call on potential customers to grow a book of business.
• Planning & Priority Setting: Plan week in advance to prioritize customer stops and territory growth.
• Product Knowledge: Demonstrate products to potential customers to show value and quality.
• Achieve Sales Goals: Meet or exceed sales quotas by following proven programs.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities in company systems.
