Job summary

Kimball Midwest is seeking an Account Representative for a hybrid role in a two-year training program designed to build sales experience, product knowledge and career progression to a sales representative. The position offers a defined compensation plan and benefits package.

Initial compensation ranges from $42,400 to $47,400 in the first year, with a salary and bonus structure; mileage and cell phone reimbursement are provided as standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel within territory to customer/associates locations and meetings with required insurance coverage minimums.
• Use of personal electronic device compliant with BYOD policy.
• Execution of an Employment Agreement and/or revised Employment Agreement exhibits.

Responsibilities

• Relationship management: Cultivate strong relationships with customers in a designated territory to understand their business needs and identify opportunities.
• Cold calling and prospecting: Effectively reach out to potential customers to grow a book of business.
• Planning and priority setting: Plan weekly routes to prioritize stops and territory growth.
• Product knowledge: Demonstrate products to show value and quality of offerings, with emphasis on American-made products.
• Achieve sales goals: Meet or exceed quotas using company sales programs and training.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities and communicate cost-savings data to customers.
