Job summary

Kimball Midwest is seeking an Account Representative in a hybrid role serving the Roanoke area. You will enter a two-year training program to gain sales experience, product knowledge and advance toward becoming a sales representative.

You will cultivate relationships with customers in your territory, prospect new business, plan weekly activities, demonstrate our products, and strive to meet sales quotas while documenting activities in our systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in field sales is preferred.
• Able to travel within the designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with customers in a designated territory to understand their business needs and identify areas of opportunity.
• Cold Calling & Prospecting: Effectively cold call on potential customers in the territory to grow a book of business.
• Planning & Priority Setting: Efficiently plans week in advance to prioritize customer stops and territory growth.
• Product Knowledge: Demonstrate products to potential customers to show value and quality of products.
• Achieve Sales Goals: Meet or exceed sales quotas by following company sales programs and training workshops.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities by inputting information into our systems.
