Job summary

Carrier is seeking an established HVAC Sales Engineer to market and sell Carrier Applied and Industrial HVAC products regionally. You’ll identify potential customers, build long-term relationships, and support the full sales cycle from take-offs to post-sale activities.

You will engage Mechanical Contractors, Consulting Engineers, and Facility Owners, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve targets. Applicants should have HVAC sales experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years HVAC sales experience or a High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years HVAC sales experience.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical discipline (preferred).
• Knowledge of HVAC design and application tools (preferred).
• LEED AP accreditation a plus (preferred).
• Experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales, gross margin and market share targets as set by management.
• Lead and grow territory and business through existing and new accounts by building relationships.
• Routinely call on and support Mechanical Contractors, Consulting Engineers, Facility Owners/Developers.
• Follow-up and close with bid day operations and post-sale submittal and order entry.
• Execute take-offs and quotes.
• Promote Carrier’s line card, attend trade shows and events, support local education efforts.
• Assist with project management duties after equipment ships, including cash collection and AR responsibilities.
