Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of HVAC sales experience, a mechanical engineering degree, and strong CRM/Office skills. The position emphasizes relationship-building, technical training, and market development with Carrier Enterprise’s extensive dealer network.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven technical sales in HVAC
• Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Solid understanding of HVAC principles
• Verifiable experience with specified products
• Proficient with a PC and Microsoft Office applications
• Proficiency with CRM/Database tools

Responsibilities

• Contact and call on engineers, contractors, architects, and owners to meet sales and gross margin goals
• Provide sales, design, and application training to key decision makers
• Collaborate with specifying engineers and design-build contractors to specify Carrier Enterprise products
• Prospect and develop new business in the assigned territory
• Take-offs of plans and specifications; price estimates, write proposals and bid jobs
• Participate in local and regional trade organizations and trade shows
• Provide and coordinate technical and product training to customers
