Job summary

Carrier Enterprise seeks an experienced Commercial Sales Engineer to design, specify, and sell unitary HVAC solutions through our dealer network. You will engage engineers, contractors, architects, and owners with technical presentations and compelling proposals.

The role requires 5+ years in HVAC sales, a Mechanical Engineering degree, and strong CRM/MS Office skills. Full-time and part-time positions are available across our Texas locations and nationwide network.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven technical sales, HVAC sales experience.
• Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical discipline.
• Solid understanding of HVAC principles.
• Verifiable experience with specified products.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Proficient with a PC and Microsoft Office applications.
• Proficiency with CRM/Database tools.

Responsibilities

• Contact and call on engineers, contractors, architects, and owners to achieve annual sales and gross margin goals.
• Conduct sales, design, and application training to key decision makers.
• Work with specifying engineers and design-build contractors to specify CE products.
• Create new business through organized prospecting and increase market share in assigned territory.
• Take-offs of plans and specifications; develop and price estimates, write proposals and bids.
