Job summary

Carrier Enterprise is a leading HVAC/R distributor seeking a Commercial Sales Engineer to drive sales with engineers, contractors, and owners. You will design, specify, and position unitary heating and ventilation solutions across our distributor network.

The role requires 5+ years of HVAC sales, a Mechanical Engineering background, and proven ability to train customers and present effectively. A dynamic, outcome-oriented environment offers opportunities across our regional offices and branches.

Qualifications

5+ years HVAC sales experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical discipline
Solid understanding of HVAC principles
Verifiable experience with specified products
Strong presentation skills
Proficiency with CRM/Database tools

Responsibilities

Contact and call on consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, architects, and owners to achieve annual sales and gross margin goals
Conduct sales, design, and application training to key decision makers
Work with specifying engineers and design-build contractors to help specify CE products
Create new business through organized prospecting and increase share of business from assigned territory
Conduct take-offs of plans and specifications; develop and price estimates, write the proposal and bid jobs
Participate in local and regional trade organizations and trade shows
Provide and/or coordinate technical and product training to customers
