Carrier Enterprise is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to join our team, focusing on commercial HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies. We welcome recent graduates with Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degrees to apply and grow as technical advisors within a dynamic sales environment.

In this role you will configure, price, and quote technical and financial solutions, collaborate with a high-performing sales team, and pursue performance-based bonuses.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Ability to read architectural, mechanical, and electrical blueprints.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical control systems.
• Maintain expert-level product knowledge and applications.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with CRM/Database tools.
• Experience working with contractors is highly desired.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the competence to make recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to new business opportunities based on sales leads and generate quotes for commercial sales.
• Assist Account Managers and Sales Managers with new and existing accounts, and introduce new products to Engineers and Mechanical Contractors.
• Complete bids, submittals, and take-offs based on plan reviews and specifications.
• Follow up on quotes, bids, and submittals to finalize the sale.
• Engage extensively with customers, manufacturers, and the sales team via phone and email.
• Assist with training for our Commercial dealers as needed.
• Resolve customer issues in alignment with the company's mission, values, and financial objectives.
• Identify and communicate customer needs and sales opportunities to drive future growth.
• Travel as needed with the Sales Team to support presentations and trade show activities.
