Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an HVAC Account Executive to sell service offerings to building owners and Director-level decision makers.

You will build trusted relationships, position renewable service agreements, and identify opportunities to expand services, retrofits, and account growth. In this role you will develop long-term partnerships, focus on enhancing building performance, and collaborate with owners, owner representatives, and internal teams to drive value and growth.

Qualifications

• Excellent initiative and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence account decision makers at key levels.
• Minimum of five years of progressive field sales experience.
• At least two years of successful experience selling HVAC or building automation system service or projects.

Responsibilities

• Sell Johnson Controls service offerings to building owners, focusing on Director-level decision makers.
• Promote value proposition through technical solutions and operational expertise.
• Build and manage long-term customer relationships with target and managed accounts.
• Position renewable service agreements, including multi-year agreements, as the core of managed relationships.
• Cultivate, qualify, and close new sales opportunities monthly.
• Expand Johnson Controls offerings within each account.
• Focus on services and retrofits that improve building performance and business outcomes.
• Build partnering relationships with owners and owners representatives.
