Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. seeks an Account Representative to drive growth and retention of assigned customer accounts through service agreements, repairs, retrofits, and building performance solutions.

The role builds trusted relationships with facility, engineering, operations, procurement, and business leaders to improve facility performance while supporting financial objectives. You will identify opportunities, manage pipelines, and deliver high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of progressive sales, account management, business development, or customer-facing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Experience selling or supporting Building Automation Systems (BAS) or related smart building technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned customer accounts.
• Sell Johnson Controls service offerings, repairs, and retrofit solutions to building owners and owner representatives.
• Position renewable service agreements as the foundation of long-term partnerships.
• Identify, qualify, develop, and close new sales opportunities.
• Develop relationships with facility, operations, engineering, procurement, and business stakeholders.
• Conduct regular customer meetings to understand priorities and review performance.
