Modigent is seeking a Service Technician II to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems in various facilities. You will independently handle routine calls, assist senior technicians on complex projects, and document work for service reports and billing, while upholding safety practices.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of hands-on experience, EPA 608, NATE or equivalent credentials, and the ability to travel regionally.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of hands-on commercial HVAC service, repair, and maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• EPA Section 608 (Type II or Universal) required; NATE or manufacturer training a plus; OSHA 10/30-hour advisable.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied environments; safety-focused.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments on commercial HVAC equipment.
• Independently diagnose and repair common issues, including refrigerant leaks and electrical components.
• Handle refrigerant recovery, recycling, recharging, and leak detection per EPA regs.
• Lead standard service calls: assess on-site problems, communicate with customers, coordinate parts, and complete repairs.
• Document work orders, service reports, and photos for billing and quality tracking.
• Assist senior technicians on advanced repairs or startups; mentor Level I technicians.
• Maintain clean, organized vehicles and PPE compliance.
