Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Service Technician III to independently diagnose, repair, and maintain complex commercial HVAC systems across diverse facilities. You will lead service calls, mentor junior technicians, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on every job.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive hands‑on commercial HVAC service experience.
• EPA Section 608 certification strongly preferred; NATE certification, OSHA 10/30 a plus.
• High school diploma or GED; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders/scaffolding/stairs, work in confined spaces or at heights.
• Must follow EPA protocols, OSHA regulations, and wear PPE at all times.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex commercial HVAC systems.
• Lead service calls from dispatch to completion and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Mentor and guide junior technicians, promote safety and quality standards.
• Document work orders, reports, photos, and recommendations for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with codes and manufacturer specifications, EPA requirements.
• Regional travel for on‑site service as required.
