Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Service Technician III to independently diagnose, repair, and maintain complex commercial HVAC systems across multiple facilities nationwide. You will lead complete service calls, mentor junior technicians, and deliver high-reliability, code-compliant, energy-efficient solutions.

This senior role requires 5+ years of hands-on HVAC experience, EPA 608, and strong communication skills. You will work on rooftops, chillers, boilers, and hydronic systems, travel regionally, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive hands-on commercial HVAC service, repair, and maintenance experience.
• EPA Type 608 certification (Universal strongly preferred) and additional credentials are a plus.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving advanced system issues independently.

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex commercial HVAC systems (RTUs, chillers, boilers, controls).
• Lead full service calls from dispatch to completion and mentor junior technicians.
• Ensure code compliance, safety standards, and thorough documentation.
