Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Service Technician III to independently diagnose, repair, and maintain complex commercial HVAC systems across diverse facilities. You will lead service calls, mentor junior techs, and ensure code compliance, energy efficiency, and safety in every job.

You will be based in the field with regional travel and a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable building systems across nationwide operations. Comprehensive training and leadership opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or apprenticeship recommended.
• EPA Section 608 certification and other credentials are a plus.
• 5+ years of progressive hands-on commercial HVAC service experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex commercial HVAC systems.
• Lead full service calls from dispatch to completion with clear customer communication.
• Perform preventive maintenance and energy-efficiency assessments.
• Mentor and guide junior technicians to uphold safety and quality standards.
• Document service activities for billing, warranty, and continuous improvement.
