Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Service Technician III to independently diagnose, repair, and maintain complex commercial HVAC systems across diverse facilities. You’ll lead challenging calls, mentor junior technicians, and ensure safety, code compliance, and high customer satisfaction while delivering reliable, energy-efficient solutions.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of hands-on experience, EPA 608 certification, and strong communication skills for on-site customer interactions and teamwork across

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive hands-on commercial HVAC service, repair, and maintenance experience.
• Journeyman-level proficiency in diagnosing and resolving advanced system issues independently.
• EPA Section 608 certification (Universal strongly preferred); NATE or OSHA credentials a plus.
• Physical ability to perform demanding field work and travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex commercial HVAC systems.
• Lead full service calls from dispatch to completion and communicate findings to customers.
• Mentor Service Technician I and II teammates and promote safety/quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with codes, EPA requirements, and manufacturer specs.
