Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas is seeking a Service and Solutions Account Manager in Alabama. You will develop and maintain direct owner relationships, sell preventative maintenance contracts, and advise clients on products and solutions based on their needs.

The role involves territory travel, collaboration with owners, reps, service managers, and technicians, and targeting enterprise clients. Hybrid work in Birmingham or Montgomery is available.

Qualifications

• HVAC field service experience or related sales experience.
• Experience creating sales proposals and contracts.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Work in assigned territory with owners, reps, and service leaders.
• Meet sales goals through development of existing customers and new business.
• Compile lists of prospective customers for leads generation.
• Travel throughout territory to call on customers and follow up on concerns.
• Prepare cost estimates, quotes, and sales contracts for orders.
• Identify tools/resources to assist in sales efforts (ROI, energy rebates).
• Plan and guide projects through to completion with SMEs as needed.
