Job summary

Daikin Applied seeks a Service and Solutions Account Manager in Davie, FL, hybrid role. You will develop and maintain direct owner relationships, sell preventative maintenance contracts, and advise on products and solutions tailored to client needs.

You will collaborate with owners, reps, service managers, and technicians to meet sales goals while delivering compelling ROI and energy efficiency. This position requires HVAC knowledge, sales experience, and the ability to travel in Florida as

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent plus HVAC certification and 5 years HVAC field service experience or a bachelor's degree.
2-4+ years of related sales experience.
Experience in commercial HVAC solutions, energy sales, and/or controls (preferred).
Valid Driver's License with acceptable MVR.
Ability to travel territory daily.
Experience with Salesforce or other sales tracking software (preferred).
Experience creating sales proposals, quotes, and reviewing contracts (preferred).

Responsibilities

Work in assigned territory, partnering with Owners, reps, district offices, service managers, sales colleagues, the Parts team and Technicians.
Meet sales goals through development of existing customers and prospecting new business.
Compile lists of prospective customers for use as leads from various sources.
Travel throughout territory to call on customers, solicit orders, build relationships and address concerns.
Prepare cost estimates and price quotations on new work; coordinate estimates on continuations; quote prices; prepare sales contracts.
Perform tests and surveys on competitive products to identify needs for product alterations or new developments.
Prepare reports of pipeline, sales activity and business plans.
Identify tools/resources to assist sales (e.g., energy rebates, ROI).
Plan and guide projects through to completion with internal/external SMEs as needed.
Work with multiple vendors/contractors to deliver complex, customizable products/solutions.
