Job summary

Johnson Controls onsite in Tampa seeks an HVAC Customer Resource Coordinator to streamline service operations. You will schedule customer requests, manage technician assignments, and ensure timely maintenance and service jobs are completed while coordinating with billing and support teams.

Under supervision, you will debrief technicians daily, resolve issues quickly, and maintain accurate customer records in NxGen, supporting overall WIP and scheduling accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2–5 years of service operations and/or service scheduling.
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with internal/external clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and issues with tact and persistence.
• Ability to prioritize work based on financial impact.

Responsibilities

• Receive and schedule customer requests for unscheduled and scheduled service.
• Coordinate labor scheduling to match technicians to the right service need.
• Communicate the action plan and services to the customer.
• Confirm work is completed to customer expectations and follow up as needed.
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve or elevate issues appropriately.
• Debrief technicians daily and maintain communication with them.
• Support parts ordering, PO creation, and WIP management.
• Keep customer account information current in NxGen and report time/expenses.
• Attend daily team huddles and weekly planning meetings.
