Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC Customer Resource Coordinator for an onsite role in Richmond, VA. You will receive and schedule service requests, coordinate technician schedules, manage customer communications, and ensure timely maintenance and service completions.

Under supervision, you will debrief technicians, handle PO creation, and support billing with accurate WIP and schedule changes. This role emphasizes attention to detail, responsiveness, and teamwork in a fast-paced service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of service industry experience in operations or scheduling.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with tact.
• Ability to influence diverse teams to accomplish tasks and goals.
• Nice to Have Associate degree.
• Experience with basic project accounting or costing principles.

Responsibilities

• Receive and schedule customer requests for service.
• Coordinate labor scheduling to match technicians to service needs.
• Communicate action plans and services to customers.
• Confirm work completion and follow up as needed.
• Answer inquiries and resolve or escalate issues.
• Debrief assigned technicians and mechanics daily and keep consistent communication with them.
• Support scheduled service visits, parts ordering and PO creation, start-up support, customer PO confirmation, WIP management, and reconciliation of exceptions.
• Keep customer account information current in NxGen and support time and expense reporting follow-up.
• Review and correct unassociated technician time and assist with other administrative activities as assigned.
• Attend daily team huddles and weekly planning and scheduling meetings.
