Job summary

Thermosystems, a Daikin group member, is seeking an entry-level Project Quotes Coordinator in Elmhurst, IL. You will manage bid documents, track customer bidding projects, and send quotes to customers, collaborating with applied sales teams as the first contact for requests on HVAC projects for new facilities, additions, and renovations.

Training will be provided. The role offers a comprehensive training program and growth opportunities in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

Entry level position with a comprehensive training program
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required

Responsibilities

Field customer emails for new projects/quote requests
Review direct email quote requests and customer sites for new jobs and addenda
Create new projects and track customers and bid dates in the ERP system
Download all bid documents onto Microsoft Sharepoint
Review mechanical schedules on plans for equipment to quote
Notify sales teams of new projects and addenda
Create the bid list for the sales team weekly
Request quotes from other reps for projects outside the Northern Illinois territory
