Job summary

Thermosystems in Elmhurst, IL, part of the Daikin group, seeks a seasoned project manager to oversee mechanical processes, including estimating, scheduling, quality control and progress billing. You will coordinate kickoff and progress meetings, gather client requirements, and prepare drawings. Serve as liaison between customers, vendors, engineers and internal teams. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years PM experience, HVAC familiarity, and Microsoft 365 skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing projects.
• HVAC experience preferred.
• Microsoft 365 experience required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of mechanical projects including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, and progress billing.
• Coordinate project kick-off meetings and progress meetings.
• Gather project requirements from clients and prepare working drawings.
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers, vendors, engineers and internal teams.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to meet milestones.
