Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a detail‑oriented administrator to support installation contract billing, AR/AP, and related financial activities. The role involves handling invoice processing, billing documentation, and subcontract coordination to help achieve revenue goals.

Under direct supervision, you will assist with scheduling, reporting, and ensuring accurate cost transfers. Strong communication with internal teams and external customers is essential for timely payments and project

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, plus 2–3 years of related work experience.
• Experience and/or basic project accounting or costing principals is desired.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills to communicate with internal and external clients.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks with tact, cooperation and persistence.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, ACCESS, Desktop Publishing and Internet applications.

Responsibilities

• Track and support installation contract business in accounts receivable/payable and billing processes.
• Provide back-up customer call handling and daily operational support.
• Update project/labor schedules and run query reports for cost reconciliation.
• Prepare and submit billings and related documentation (e.g. certified payroll).
• Assist COAs and subcontract process to meet safety requirements and lien waivers where needed.
• Proactively contact customers to ensure satisfaction and timely payment.
