Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks an administrative professional to support the installation contract business. Under supervision, you will assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing and collections, and subcontract processing, while providing customer support as needed.

You will help update schedules, run reports, and ensure accurate cost transfers and documentation, contributing to revenue goals and smooth project operations at Johnson Controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 2–3 years of related work experience in a technical environment preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with internal and external clients.
• Ability to manage a large, diverse workload with tact, cooperation and persistence.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Access, DESKTOP PUBLISHING and internet business applications.
• Associate degree preferred; experience in project accounting or costing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support installation contract business under direct supervision; participate in A/R, A/P and financial activities such as scheduling, billing and collections.
• Provide back-up customer call handling and day-to-day administrative support in operations.
• Assist installation teams to reach revenue goals and resolve A/R issues; prepare and submit billings and related documentation.
