Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Customer Operations Associate to support HVAC installation billing, accounts payable/receivable, and project cost tracking. This onsite role spans coordination with project owners, subcontractors, and the sales team to ensure timely billings and dispute resolution.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in service or technical environments, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects with precision.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years in service/sales/technical environments with AR/AP experience.
• Strong communication skills to interact with internal and external clients.
• Ability to handle multiple projects with tact and persistence.
• Proficient with MS Office and basic accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Track and support HVAC installation contract billing, AR/AP, and revenue activities.
• Prepare monthly billings and assist with subcontract documentation.
• Resolve AR disputes and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate with sales, project owners, and subcontractors on bookings and costs.
• Maintain billing and collection notes in relevant systems.
