Ferguson Enterprises, Kirkland, WA, is seeking a knowledgeable Counter Sales Associate to assist plumbing and HVAC contractors. You will apply product expertise, upsell where appropriate, and deliver exceptional service at the counter, by phone, and via email.

The role emphasizes building relationships, meeting sales goals, and guiding customers to the right parts while maintaining accurate inventory and a professional counter environment. Hours are Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Formación

• 0–3 years of experience in customer service or sales; plumbing/HVAC experience preferred.
• Sales mindset with ability to meet goals and influence purchasing decisions.
• Strong communication skills for consultative selling and customer engagement.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Digital literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsabilidades

• Engage customers proactively at the counter, on the phone, and via email to understand needs and recommend solutions.
• Serve as a product expert by applying knowledge of plumbing, HVAC and related products to guide decisions.
• Drive sales growth by upselling, cross-selling, and promoting strategic products and programs.
• Use catalogs, computer systems, and databases to locate parts and provide accurate information.
• Process transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy and a positive customer experience.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales to support account growth and seamless service.
• Manage special orders and follow up on status, back-orders, and delivery timelines.
• Maintain a professional, organized counter environment reflecting quality and service.
