Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC in Kirkland, WA seeks a Counter Sales Associate to assist plumbing and HVAC contractor customers at the counter, over the phone, and via email. You will leverage product knowledge and problem-solving skills to guide purchasing decisions and support our sales strategy. Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.

to 4:00 p.m. The role offers starting pay at $24.00 per hour, bonus eligibility, and benefits including health, dental, vision, a 401(k) with company match, paid time

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of customer service or sales experience; plumbing/HVAC knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication and consultative selling skills.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Digital literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers proactively at the counter, on the phone, and via email to understand needs and recommend solutions.
• Serve as a product expert by applying knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and related products to guide customer decisions.
• Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell programs.
• Process transactions efficiently with accuracy and a positive customer experience.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Associates to support account growth and deliver seamless service.
• Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and stock organization.
