The role emphasizes relationship-building, upselling, and delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment, with a starting wage around $21/hour and schedule Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in customer service or sales.
• Experience in plumbing/HVAC is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers at the counter, on the phone, and via email to understand needs and suggest solutions.
• Become a product expert in plumbing and HVAC to guide purchasing decisions.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to drive sales growth.
• Use catalogs, computer systems, and databases to locate parts and provide accurate info.
• Process transactions accurately while delivering excellent customer experience.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales to support account growth.
• Manage special orders, back-orders, and delivery timelines.
• Maintain a professional counter environment and assist with inventory counts.
