Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in customer service or sales, preferably in plumbing/HVAC or related industry.
• Strong sales mindset with ability to meet goals and influence purchasing decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for consultative selling and customer engagement.
• Digital literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers at the counter, on the phone, and via email to understand needs and recommend solutions.
• Serve as a product expert by applying knowledge of plumbing and HVAC products to guide decisions.
• Drive sales growth by identifying upsell opportunities and promoting programs.
• Use catalogs, computer systems, and manufacturer databases to locate parts and provide information.
• Process transactions accurately to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Collaborate with Outside Sales Associates to support account growth.
• Manage special orders, follow up on order status, and communicate delivery timelines.
• Maintain a professional, organized counter environment reflecting quality and service.
• Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and stock organization.
• Adhere to safety regulations, including PPE usage.
