Johnstone Supply in Baton Rouge, LA is hiring a Counter Sales Associate II to serve HVAC/R customers in person and over the phone, greet clients, assist with product selections, and support store profitability. You will use POS terminals, look up parts, coordinate with branches, process quotes and orders, and maintain merchandising standards while delivering prompt, friendly service.

Forklift certified candidates preferred; must be able to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 2+ years in wholesale/retail HVAC/R.
• Front counter experience required.
• Forklift experience or certification required.
• English proficiency required for communication and safety.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and handle multiple requests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assist customers with product selections and troubleshoot issues.
• Recommend and order products; upsell promotions and substitutions.
• Research parts using POS, catalogs, websites, and ERP systems.
• Process quotes, warranties, returns, and related paperwork.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness and assist with inventory counts.
