Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking a Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative for our Branch Operations group.

The CSR/ISR sells products and services to prospective and established customers, handling inquiries by phone, email or in-person and guiding them through the sales process with accurate information and timely follow-up. Responsibilities include maintaining house accounts, processing orders, quotes and deliveries, providing product knowledge, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; HVAC certification preferred.
• 1-3+ years of progressive sales or customer service experience in HVAC is common.
• Knowledge of HVAC equipment/products is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic database tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the counter, by phone, email or fax to identify needs and provide solutions.
• Process orders, purchase orders, payment processing, quotes and delivery dates accurately.
• Maintain house accounts and outbound communication for new product launches and pricing.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, distribution and vendors to ensure timely shipment and accurate deliveries.
• Educate customers about product terminology, features and benefits to improve sales.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle warranties/returns as needed.
• Support branch manager and other departments to resolve issues and keep customers satisfied.
