Job summary

Belimo is seeking a District Sales Manager to drive growth across Northern California/Northern Nevada, managing the full Belimo portfolio through Contractors, Distributors, End-Users and Consulting Engineers.

The DSM will train customers, build relationships, and expand our presence in the Building Automation market while traveling; remote/home office supported, with ~50% travel. Base salary ranges from $90,000 to $125,000 with a 25% target bonus; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3 years proven track record in sales/account management.
• HVAC or related technical field experience desired.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and account management skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently from a home office.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow existing repeat business through service, relationships, product knowledge.
• Develop new business with End-Users, engineers and other non-purchasing accounts to drive specifications for Belimo products.
• Use market knowledge and planning tools to add value.
• Respond proactively to customer needs using Belimo resources.
• Lead sales presentations and Belimo University trainings for customers.
• Become a trusted advisor on valves, actuators, dampers, retrofits, and control systems.
• Utilize CRM for sales activities.
• Participate in committees and special projects.
• Collaborate with Belimo teams to grow business.
