Job summary

Belimo is seeking a Regional Application Consultant to lead Contracting Sales Managers in the Southern Territory. The role requires residence in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carolina and frequent end-user and consulting engineering calls, with about 50% travel.

You will provide applications excellence, train customers, develop new business through pull-through strategies, and collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to craft specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred.
• 5+ years in consulting engineering or HVAC/related technical field is required.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills are required.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and negotiation skills are required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills are a must.
• Self-starting attitude to work effectively from home/officem.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and other basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Support sales efforts by cultivating relationships with end users and consulting engineering customers, providing training and troubleshooting.
• Provide applications excellence to drive and support Belimo products and sales strategy.
• Assist sales in developing new business through pull-through efforts to gain specifications and demand.
• Identify potential new product applications and communicate concepts to relevant teams.
• Lead technical trainings and Belimo University programs as required.
• Collaborate with DSMs and Field SEs to troubleshoot product issues at customer sites.
• Work with Product Management/Engineering to develop Master Belimo Specifications.
• Write and influence specifications for engineers and end users.
• Use sales tools such as Best and Select Pro.
