Job summary

Daikin Comfort seeks a Customer Service Representative to handle inquiries and drive sales through face-to-face, phone, email, or fax interactions. You will learn policies, process orders, manage shipments, and provide product information to customers.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in progressive sales, high school diploma or GED, and solid MS Office skills. The role requires accurate data input and strong customer relationship management.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC equipment/products is preferred.
• General MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) and working knowledge of database applications.
• Effective and high-quality Customer Service/Relationship management via walk-ins, phone, and email.
• Positive, professional attitude with ability to diffuse difficult situations.
• Good phone and email etiquette.
• Ability to handle high-volume customer traffic.
• Verbal and written communication of technical information clearly.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounts via outbound calls about new product launches, services, supplies, and discounts.
• Provide excellent customer service in person, by phone, and by email.
• Process orders, purchase orders, payments, quotes and delivery dates with accuracy.
• Coordinate revisions with manufacturing, sales, distribution and vendors.
• Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information.
• Educate customers on product terminology, features and benefits to boost sales.
• Assist customers with warranties and returns.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager to resolve issues and ensure policy adherence.
• Periodically reach out to customers to assess satisfaction.
• Maintain records and prepare reports on sales activities.
• Expand HVAC product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends.
• Work with management to ensure a high level of service across teams.
• Follow work instructions and company policies; participate in additional projects.
