Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of progressive sales experience.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Knowledge of HVAC products preferred.
• General MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounts and communicate new product launches via outbound calls.
• Provide excellent customer service via face-to-face, phone calls and e-mails.
• Process orders, purchase orders, payment processing, quotes and delivery dates with accuracy.
• Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications.
• Coordinate shipments with manufacturing, sales, distribution and vendors.
• Educate customers about product terminology, features and benefits to improve sales.
• Expand knowledge of HVAC products and keep current with industry trends.
• Maintain records and prepare sales activity reports.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Reach out to customers periodically to assess satisfaction.
