Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC Smart Building Sales Account Representative to oversee the sale of Building Efficiency offerings in the Construction space. The role focuses on fostering long-term partnerships, addressing client needs with innovative business and technical solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

The candidate will collaborate with internal teams to deliver the best outcomes for clients and the company.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in selling HVAC controls to engineers, contractors, or general contractors.
• Three years of sales experience in the construction industry.
• Knowledgeable in designing and/or selling building automation systems.
• Strong initiative and excellent communication skills.
• BA in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
• Five years of sales experience in the construction or HVAC industry (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Selling Johnson Controls offerings with confidence and persistence to various stakeholders in the construction community, aiming for optimal profitability.
• Building strong relationships with key decision makers to promote Johnson Controls as their preferred partner.
• Identifying and engaging new business opportunities in alignment with strategic goals.
• Addressing operational, environmental, and financial objectives of customers by recommending tailored solutions.
• Representing customer interests within Johnson Controls, ensuring they receive maximum value from our offerings.
