Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency serving multi-location HVAC and home service groups. As Head of Business Development for HVAC, you own the largest deals from first meetings with ownership to signed contracts, handling strategic accounts across locations.

You will close high-stakes, multi-location HVAC deals solo with a $2M annual quota, supported by inbound leads and our sales development team.

Qualifications

• A record of closing $1M+ a year on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling into HVAC groups or related multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative sales cycles with several decision makers.

Responsibilities

• Own the full cycle on large HVAC deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close (3–12 months).
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at multi-location groups.
• Expand to additional locations and services after signing a group,
• Collaborate with strategists and leadership to craft proposals for major deals.
