WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Substations Project Manager to lead HV/EHV substation projects across multiple US locations, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance. The role requires directing cross‑functional teams and coordinating with stakeholders to deliver successful power delivery solutions.

You will manage project scope, risks, and contractual obligations, while applying PM best practices, QA/QC standards, and regulatory requirements in a dynamic engineering environment.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive post‑education experience in a project management role delivering HV/EHV substation or utility‑scale power delivery projects.
• Understanding of the project delivery lifecycle in A/E/C or utility sectors with PM leadership experience.
• Ability to analyze cost, schedule, risk, and scope using established project management principles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of leading junior staff and coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Commitment to QA/QC processes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HV/EHV substation projects, including budgets, schedules, risk management and client satisfaction.
• Develop proposals, scopes of work, and execution strategies for utility‑scale projects.
• Create WBS and cost‑loaded schedules for engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and energization.
• Coordinate with area managers on resources and subcontracting needs; manage change control and claims.
• Provide regular project reporting and ensure adherence to QA/QC plans and safety standards.
• Engage in contract negotiations and project startup activities; lead kick‑off meetings.
