Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Substations Project Manager to lead HV/EHV substation projects from conception through energization. The role covers budgets, schedules, risk, QA/QC, safety, and client satisfaction across multiple sites in the United States.

You will guide engineering, procurement, and construction teams and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. The position requires 7–10 years of experience in HV/EHV substation or T&D projects, strong leadership, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline; 7–10 years in PM for HV/EHV substation or utility-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of project delivery lifecycle in A/E/C; experience in electrical substation engineering, procurement, construction, testing, energization.
• Experience with QA/QC, utility standards, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cross-functional engineering, design, and construction teams on HV/EHV substation projects.
• Manage project budgets, labor hours, cost tracking, materials, and equipment quantities.
• Develop WBS and cost-loaded schedules for subsystems and activities.
• Coordinate with managers on resource and subcontracting needs.
• Prepare and present project reporting and client updates.
