WSP is seeking a Power Delivery Project Manager to lead HV/EHV substation and transmission line projects across the Power & Energy Management Team. The role emphasizes managing technical scope, schedules, quality, and finances while growing client relationships and marketing services to new clients in the South and Southwest.

You will oversee project lifecycle from proposal to closeout, coordinate with internal and client teams, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management or other related field within the Power & Energy Market.
• 12 years of relevant post education experience in a project management role within the Power Delivery/Utility Industry.
• Minimum of 5 years applicable industry experience working and/or providing engineering services for IOUs, IPPs, Co-Ops, Munis, Construction Contractors, etc.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading engineering and/or construction teams on medium to large electrical utility scale clients for high voltage and/or extra high voltage substation and/or transmission line type projects.
• Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools including Contract Management, External and Internal Team Meeting Management, Earned Value Management, Change Management, Risk Management, Schedule Management (CPM like Primavera P6), Financial Management.
• Advanced proficiency with analytical and organizational skills; strong background in project management within the Power Delivery/Utility industry.

Responsabilités

• Provide PM leadership for high voltage and EHV Substation and/or Transmission Line projects including budgets, forecasts, margins, and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders; report on project progress.
• Lead pursuit/initiation activities: Go/No-Go decisions, contract reviews, risk mitigation, pricing reviews, etc.
• Lead contract negotiations and client presentations when required.
• Ensure QA/QC adherence; oversee technical reviews and staff assignments.
• Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams with strategic client advice; support project recovery planning.
• Coordinate with managers on resource and subcontracting needs; monitor scope and budget impacts.
