Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repair in substations, BESS and PV facilities.

The role is remote with heavy travel to varying job sites and involves supporting Technicians and Trainees while upholding SOLV Energy's safety and inclusion standards. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Effective verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to work at remote locations in extreme weather.
• CPR/First Aid training, Job Safety Analysis, Electrical Testing SOP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment.
• Travel to varying job sites; support Technicians and Trainees.
• Uphold SOLV Energy safety, quality procedures and inclusion.
