Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair in substations, BESS and PV facilities. This role is remote with heavy travel to job sites nationwide.

You will document test results, follow safety standards, and collaborate with clients and teammates while supporting multiple projects. A strong electrical testing background and willingness to travel 75% are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED completed or equivalent.
• 1–3 years as electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time and work remotely in diverse environments.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication; strong organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substation, BESS and PV facilities.
• Ensure safe working environment and adherence to safety standards.
• Prepare timely documentation and required reports.
• Assemble, write and review test reports for performed work.
