Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to perform testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairs in substations, BESS and PV facilities.

This remote role requires heavy travel to varied job sites nationwide, with safety, documentation, and client communication as core duties. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years as an electrician testing technician, strong English communication, and the ability to work at remote sites in extreme weather, with occasional

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 years as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel 75% of the time.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to mitigate hazards using proper tools.
• Fluent English communication, both spoken and written.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work remotely at sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substation, BESS and PV facilities.
• Ensure safe working environment by enforcing safety standards.
• Prepare timely documentation and required reports.
• Assemble, write, and review complete test reports.
• Manage multiple jobs and coordinate with clients and teammates.
