Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair in substations, BESS and PV facilities. The role is remote with heavy travel to various job sites; location specifics will be discussed in interview.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to follow procedures.
• Good verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing, commissioning and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Ensure safe working environment and compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare accurate documentation and reports.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and teammates.
• Supervise/assist technicians and trainees as needed.
• Complete tests and reviews, generating comprehensive test reports.
