Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities. This role is remote with heavy travel to varying jobsites required.

Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process. Responsibilities include safety-focused testing, accurate reporting, and collaboration with clients and teammates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Ability to travel 75% of time.
• Effective verbal and written English language communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment in substations, BESS and PV facilities.
• Ensure a safe working environment through adherence to safety standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate documentation and required reports.
• Assemble, write and review a complete test report of the work performed or supervised.
