Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Acceptance HV/MV Testing Technician Level 1 to execute testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and repair activities in substations, BESS and PV facilities.

The role is remote with heavy travel to varying job sites nationwide and requires collaboration with Technicians and Trainees. Responsibilities include performing acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment, upholding SOLV Energy's safety culture, and contributing to project teams across multiple sites

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience as an electrician testing technician in substations or BESS yards.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time and work at remote locations in extreme weather conditions.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• CPR/First Aid training and familiarity with Job Safety Analysis and Electrical Testing SOPs.
