Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Timekeeping SME to serve as the primary resource for our timekeeping system(s). You will act as the central contact for employees submitting time and supervisors approving it, bridging between the system, users, HR, and Payroll.

You will ensure system integrity, support timely payroll processing, troubleshoot issues, guide users, and collaborate on enhancements while maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in HR, General Business, Computer Systems, or similar.
• 1 year or more experience with timekeeping systems is a plus.
• 2+ years in HR practices and policies.
• Understand HR's role in business and daily activities.
• Ability to train and influence system users.
• Knowledge of the connection between timekeeping and Payroll.
• Familiar with compliance rules (US/CBAs) and Workday/ServiceNow basics.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating timekeeping systems.
• Audit timekeeping usage for policy compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain relationships with HR and Payroll to align processes.
• Update and distribute timekeeping training materials and align with updates.
• Ensure new users receive timely access and training.
• Set up proxies to avoid disruptions during absences.
• Provide user support, timely follow-up, and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Research issues with data, collect information, and support resolution.
• Monitor systems by running periodic reports for data integrity and anomalies.
• Create and maintain a centralized knowledge base with QRGs/FAQs.
