Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Timekeeping System SME to act as the central contact for employees submitting time and supervisors approving it. The role ensures system integrity and supports accurate payroll processing across HR and Payroll functions.

The candidate will troubleshoot issues, guide users, and collaborate on system enhancements while maintaining compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in HR, General Business, Computer Systems, or similar discipline.
• 1 year or more experience with timekeeping systems is a plus.
• 2+ years in HR practices and policies.
• Understanding how HR influences business and employees.
• Ability to train and influence system users.
• Knowledge of timekeeping relation to Payroll.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating timekeeping systems, including system navigation and payroll inquiries.
• Conduct audits to ensure policy compliance and CBAs alignment.
• Collaborate with HR and Payroll stakeholders to keep processes updated.
• Update and distribute timekeeping training materials for evolving needs.
• Ensure new users gain timely access and training in systems.
• Set up proxies to prevent interruptions during absences.
