Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a timekeeping SME to act as the central contact for employees and managers, bridging the timekeeping system with HR and Payroll. The role ensures system integrity and supports timely payroll processing.

The position involves troubleshooting, user guidance, and collaborating on enhancements to meet regulatory requirements and internal policies. It requires strong communication and the ability to train users effectively.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in HR, business, computer systems or similar.
• 1+ year experience with time keeping systems (preferred).
• 2+ years in HR practices and policies.
• Understanding of the HR role and its business impact.
• Ability to train and influence system users.
• Knowledge of timekeeping and payroll interrelationships.
• Knowledge of compliance rules for U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada.
• Knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow (preferred).
• MS Office proficiency (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, Access).

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating the timekeeping system.
• Conduct regular audits of timekeeping for policy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain active relationships with HR and Payroll stakeholders.
• Update training materials to reflect system updates and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure new users have timely access and training.
• Complete proxy setups to prevent service disruption during absences.
• Provide user support and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Monitor system by running periodic reports to identify data discrepancies.
• Develop and maintain a centralized knowledge repository for QRGs and FAQs.
