Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a timekeeping system SME to serve as the central point of contact for employees and managers. You will bridge the timekeeping system with HR and Payroll, ensuring payroll accuracy and policy compliance across processes.

Responsibilities include audits, training material updates, user access provisioning, proxy setup, and collaboration on system enhancements. Build a centralized knowledge base of QRGs and FAQs to support users.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HR, business, IT or similar, required.
• 1+ year experience with timekeeping systems is a plus.
• 2+ years HR practices and policies experience required.
• Understand HR role and its influence on business.
• Ability to train and influence system users.
• Knowledge of timekeeping and payroll interrelationships.
• Know compliance rules (U.S., CBAs) and regulatory needs.
• Knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office with Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, Access.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to employees and managers navigating timekeeping systems.
• Audit timekeeping for policy and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with HR and Payroll stakeholders on updates.
• Update and distribute timekeeping training materials.
• Ensure timely access and training for new users and role changes.
• Set up proxies to prevent disruption during absences.
• Create and maintain knowledge resources (QRGs and FAQs).
